Postnatal support

Hi, I’m Emma, founder of Emma’s Postnatal Support. I’m a mother of 2, with a past background in midwifery and a passion for supporting new families. I offer practical and emotional support to parents in their own homes during the early weeks and months of parenthood. My aim is to help you feel cared for, confident and less alone. This could mean support with baby care and feeding or offering a listening ear and signposting to other local services. You may want a chance to rest and calm your nervous system whilst I offer a helping hand around the home. Visits can be ad hoc or regular, and will always be bespoke to your needs for that day. Training - Paediatric first aid trained - Enhanced DBS for children and adults certificate - Safe sleep certificate (Lullaby trust) - Follow evidenced based advice

Newborn & Postnatal Support

Hi, I’m Emilie, a Registered Children’s Nurse, qualified Sleep Practitioner, mum of two and founder of Nurture Nurse. I have over 15 years of NHS experience caring for babies and children, including seven years specialising in children’s respiratory care and sleep.
I provide warm, practical and evidence-based support to families from pregnancy through the fourth trimester and beyond. From feeding, sleep and settling to newborn care, parental confidence and simply giving you time to rest, my support is tailored to your family and provided without judgement. I also offer specialist support for babies coming home from hospital or living with additional or complex medical needs.

Main services:
- Newborn & postnatal support: practical, nurturing support with newborn care, feeding, sleep, settling and adjusting to life with a new baby.
- Fourth trimester support: daytime and overnight support as needed, at home, giving parents reassurance, practical help and time to rest.
- Preparing for baby: one-to-one support before birth to help parents feel confident and prepared for bringing their baby home.
- Baby & child sleep Consultancy: gentle, evidence-based, personalised sleep and settling support from newborn to around age five, available online throughout the UK.
- Enhanced newborn support: additional support following a hospital or NICU stay, or when a baby has more complex health or care needs.
